Mortdecai [2015] Received Generally Unfavorable Reviews


Mortdecai is a 2015 American action comedy film directed by David Koepp and written by Eric Aronson. The film is adapted from the book anthology Don't Point That Thing at Me written by Kyril Bonfiglioli. It stars Johnny Depp in the title role and also features Gwyneth Paltrow, Ewan McGregor, Olivia Munn, Paul Bettany, and Jeff Goldblum.  


Mortdecai has been met with largely negative reviews. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds a rating of 12%, based on 67 reviews, with an average rating of 3.3/10. The site's consensus reads, "Aggressively strange and willfully unfunny, the misguided Mortdecai sounds a frightfully low note in Johnny Depp's post-Pirates filmography." On Metacritic, the film has a score of 27 out of 100, based on 19 critics, indicating "generally unfavorable reviews". Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales Coming Soon


Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is the announced fifth film in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. It will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and will star Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow once again as Jeff Nathanson is writing the screenplay.

On April 4, 2014, in an interview Depp said that Bruckheimer and Disney had invited him in to collaborate with the writer Jeff Nathanson. He also said that he wants to bring a Pirates film that's very fresh and different for the people who saw the other ones. Depp also said that it might be the last one in the series.

Kaya Scodelario
Back in December, source reported on five of the actresses that were in the running for the upcoming fifth installment of Disney’s popular franchise, but now Deadline is saying that British actress Kaya Scodelario (The Maze Runner), one of the five mentioned earlier, is closing in on the female lead.

Orlando Bloom
While Orlando Bloom was initially reported to be skipping out on the fifth installment of the series, the actor is still in negotiations for the film. The 37 years old actor revealed in an interview with IGN that he is in talks to star in the film, which will be shooting early next year in Australia. "I'm not entirely sure that I'll be back just yet, but there are talks. Basically they want to reboot the whole franchise, I think, and do something with me and the relationship with my son." said the actor.

Blackhat (2015) Released For Film Shot In Malaysia – Trailers & Plot



So the January release of “Blackhat,” the latest film from a major American director, Michael Mann (“Heat,” “The Last of the Mohicans”) was a real mystery. The film stars Chris Hemsworth, Tang Wei, Viola Davis, Holt McCallany, and Wang Leehom. It is set for release on January 16, 2015.


Blackhat” is a film about cybercrime that is, at first, difficult to follow, and later, perfectly clear and preposterous. A hacker or a team of hackers causes a Chinese nuclear reactor to blow, and China and the United States team up to stop them before they can strike again. That means springing from prison the one genius hacker smart enough to beat the hackers at their own game. Into the Woods is a 2014 American musical fantasy film directed by Rob Marshall, and adapted to the screen by James Lapine from his and Stephen Sondheim's Tony Award–winning Broadway musical of the same name.
